How SEAI grants work, in 3 steps

1

Check your eligibility

Most grants require your home to have been built and occupied before a set year, and a valid BER assessment.

2

Apply before you start

You apply to SEAI and get approval first. Starting works before approval usually means you lose the grant.

3

Get the work done & claim

Use a registered contractor, complete a post-works BER where required, and SEAI pays the grant.
